An Act

granting an increase of pension to John F. Chase.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

That the pension of twenty-four dollars a month now paid to John F. Chase, late a private in the Fifth Maine Battery, be increased to thirty-six dollars a month, such increase to commence from and after the passage of this act.
