Granting an increase of pension to John M. C. Sowers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John M. C. Sowers, late of Company D, Seventy-seventh Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and Company G, Fifth Regiment United States Veteran Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
