AN ACT
Authorizing the Secretary of Commerce to acquire a site for a lighthouse depot at New Orleans, Louisiana, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That the Secretary of Commerce is hereby authorized to acquire, by purchase from the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana, a lease for not exceeding ninety-nine years of a site on which is to be located the New Orleans Lighthouse Depot for a consideration of not exceeding $20,000 for the ninety-nine years, payment thereof to be made upon approval of the lease by the Secretary of Commerce from funds allotted and made available for this project by proper authority. The site shall contain aproximately11 So in original.
