JOINT RESOLUTION
For the designation of a street or avenue to be known as “Maine Avenue”.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That in honor of the State
District of Columbia.
Name of part of Water Street SW. changed to Maine Avenue.
of Maine that part of Water Street Southwest, in the District of Columbia, lying between Fourteenth Street Southwest and P Street Southwest, is hereby renamed “Maine Avenue” and shall hereafter bear the name of “Maine Avenue”.
