An Act
for the relief of the legal representatives of Simeon Theus, deceased.
Be it enacted, &c.,
That the proper accounting officer of the treasury
Payment on account of bad bonds.
be, and is hereby, authorized to pay out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to the legal representatives of Simeon Theus, deceased, the sum of thirty-eight thousand two hundred and eleven dollars and ninety-nine cents, being the amount of bad bonds, for which he receipted to his predecessor, and for which he obtained no credit upon settlement at the treasury.
