AN ACT
To extend for a temporary period the provisions of the District of Columbia Emergency Rent Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That section 1 (b) of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate rents in the District of Columbia, and for other purposes,” approved December 2, 1941, as amended

Post, p. 48.
(D. C. Code, 1940 edition, sec. 45–1601), is hereby amended by striking out “March 31, 1949” and inserting in lieu thereof “April 30, 1949”.
