AN ACT
To amend the act of August 3, 1950, as amended, to continue in effect the provisions thereof relating to the authorized personnel strength of the Armed Forces.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That section 1 of the Act of August 3, 1950 (64 Stat. 408), as amended by section 3 of the 1951 Amendments to the Universal Military Training and Service Act (65 Stat. 88), is further amended by striking out the date “July
31, 1954” and inserting in lieu thereof the date “July 31, 1957”.
