JOINT RESOLUTION
Amending title V of the Agricultural Act of 1949.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That section 501 of the Agricultural Act of 1949, as amended, is further amended by striking out the parenthetical clause “(pursuant to arrangements between the United States and the Republic of Mexico)” and inserting in lieu thereof “(pursuant to arrangements between the United States and the Republic of Mexico or after every practicable effort has been made by the United States to negotiate and reach agreement on such arrangements) ”.
