AN ACT
To further amend the Reorganization Act of 1949. as amended, so that such Act will apply to reorganization plans transmitted to the Congress at any time before June 1, 1957.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That subsection (b) of section 5
of the Reorganization Act of 1949 (63 Stat. 205), as amended by the Act of February 11, 1953 (67 Stat. 4), is hereby further amended by striking out “April 1, 1955” and inserting in lieu thereof “June 1, 1957”.
