That the following sums are appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to supply additional appropriations (this Act may be cited as the “Second Urgent Deficiency Appropriation Act, 1955”) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1955, and for other purposes, namely:

INDEPENDENT OFFICES Commission on Organization of the Executive Branch of the Government salaries and expenses For an additional amount for “Salaries and expenses”, to complete the operations of the Commission as provided by Public Law 41 (S. 1763), Eighty-fourth Congress, $263,475. Veterans Administration For an additional amount for “Readjustment benefits”, $25,000,000, to remain available until expended.
