JOINT RESOLUTION
Designating February, 1968 as “American History Month”.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That February, 1968 is
“American History Month”.
hereby designated as “American History Month”, and the President of the United States is requested and authorized to issue a proclamation inviting the people of the United States to observe such month in schools and other suitable places with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
