AN ACT
To amend an Act to provide for the establishment of a public crematorium in the District of Columbia.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That section 2 of the Act approved April 20, 1906, as amended (34 Stat. 123; sec. 27–130, D.C. Code), is amended (1) by deleting from the first sentence “, and for the incineration of such other bodies as may be presented for that purpose by the persons having custody thereof’; (2) by striking from the second sentence the comma immediately after “crematorium” and inserting in lieu thereof a period, and striking the remainder of the sentence; and (3) by striking the third sentence.
