AN ACT
For the relief of Jack Brown.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Jack Brown, former superintendent and special disbursing agent for the Sequoyah Orphan Training School of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the sum of $751.50 in full settlement of all his claims against the United States for the amount he paid to United States on January 12, 1939, after he was notified by the General Accounting Office that his purchase for the United States of a water pipeline right-of-way from the city of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was not authorized. The United States has used that right-of-way since he made the purchase in 1933.
Sec. 2.

Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
