AN ACT
To amend section 715 of title 32, United States Code, to authorize the application of local Law in determining the effect of contributory negligence on claims involving members of the National Guard.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That section 715(b) of title 32, United States Code, is amended by striking out “; and” at the end of clause (4) and inserting in place thereof “, or, if so caused, allowed only to the extent that the law of the place where the act or omission complained of occurred would permit recovery from a private individual under like circumstances; and”.
