An Act
For the relief of Mrs. Lessie Edwards.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
That, for the purpose of the laws administered by the Veterans’ Administration, the application for benefits which Mrs. Lessie Edwards, of New Cumberland, West Virginia, completed in September 1959 following the death on August 29, 1959, of her husband, the late George L. Edwards (XC20741307), shall be held and considered by the Veterans’ Administration as timely filed; and the Administrator of Veterans’ Affairs is hereby authorized and directed to make retroactive payments in accordance with the entitlement established pursuant to such application.
